Merrie Robin Monroe’s experience with decorating, organizing and gardens began 25 years ago while living in Paris and working as an apprentice to Helga du Mesnil, a successful decorator specializing in luxury apartments and homes. After moving back to New York, she continued to assist in many high profile homes and apartments in New York City and Rockland County, expanding her knowledge of placement, color and the flow of energy through the study of Feng Shui.
For a brief period, Merrie Robin returned to her birthplace in the San Francisco Bay Area where she re-discovered the healing properties of Nature found in gardens, plants and flowers. She designed and installed several gardens including the flower and vegetable garden at the Integral Yoga Ashram in San Francisco.
After returning to New York, Merrie Robin received her certification as a Registered Polarity Practitioner and Counselor from the New York Open Center. She has also studied Feng Shui extensively and is working towards her certification as an Ikebana flower instructor.Melding together her diverse expertise in energy balancing, interior decoration, garden design Merrie Robin continues to create healthy and balanced environments, indoors and out; describing them as peaceful sanctuaries of grounded vitality, order and beauty.
